Description:
Demolition of a ground-level car park plus single storey garaging, workshop and warehousing complex. As the site is adjacent to main runway, the project involved close liaison with Heathrow Airport Authorities. Low flying aircraft restricted plant height and machine locations and works had to be scheduled around flight times. The hard-standing, ground floor slabs and foundations were broken up and crushed ready for re-use.
