Description:
Soft strip and demolition of a 1980’s hotel wing down to basement slab level. The site comprised former hotel offices, kitchens, staff accommodation and plant rooms bounded by the Connaught Hotel and other commercial and residential properties. Works involved delicate hand demolition of roof structures and wall brickwork, as well as removal and disposal of asbestos materials. Enabling works were also carried out to facilitate piling works for the piling contractor.
