Description:
This complex project involved demolition of a former glassworks warehouse. The site is located next to a working canal and adjoins a listed building. The team hand separated those areas that abutted the walls to be retained. The remains of a kiln were discovered below the building and the presence of bats necessitated additional environmental precautions.
Structure: Brick structure with steel-frame, asbestos cladding and concrete slabs.
