Description:
Demolition of a former ammunitions depot in preparation for the construction of residential townhouses and apartments. The estate had been derelict for some years and required demolition of existing buildings and the breaking up of old foundations and underground walkways. The scope of works also included the safe removal and disposal of 150sqm of asbestos insulation board and pipe lagging. 581 tonnes of cement-bonded asbestos were registered for exemption.
